Give Back Program terms
Approval and scheduling. All events require advance approval and are subject to date, location and operational availability. Sicilian Oven may decline, reschedule, modify or cancel an event when necessary. Sicilian Oven reserves the right to decline any request that is not a good fit for the Give Back Program or is inconsistent with Sicilian Oven's policies, values or business interests.
Qualifying sales. Qualifying sales are limited to dine-in and takeout purchases made directly through the approved Sicilian Oven location during the approved event period. Sales are calculated after discounts, refunds and voids and exclude sales tax, gratuities, gift-card purchases, catering orders and third-party delivery orders.
Identifying purchases. Supporters must identify the organization at the time of purchase using the process provided by Sicilian Oven. Sales cannot be attributed to the event after the transaction is completed. Sicilian Oven's point-of-sale records will be used to calculate qualifying sales.
Program requirements. The organization must generate at least $350 in qualifying sales and satisfy all program requirements, including at least two social media posts that tag Sicilian Oven, to receive the 15% Give Back payment. If the organization does not reach the $350 minimum, no payment is due. Approval does not guarantee any minimum sales volume or payment amount.
Payment. Give Back payments generally will be mailed within 30 days after the approved event date to the legal organization identified on a completed Form W-9. Payments cannot be issued to individuals.
Promotional materials and tax treatment. By submitting its name, logo or promotional materials, the organization confirms that it has the right to use them and authorizes Sicilian Oven to use them to administer and promote the event. Customer purchases are ordinary restaurant purchases and should not be represented as tax-deductible charitable donations.
